. this is the colder air coming from canada tonight. nights longer and longer and the cold air building. the cold front will move through tomorrow. out ahead we stir the current back onshore and that's why we see the clouds and drizzle. the front rolls through tomorrow, increases the breezes and cool air. by wednesday 20 to 25 degrees cooler than we were yesterday. here's a look at our drop. another 5 to 10 degrees tomorrow. we'll be in the low to mid-70s inland with mid to upper 60s around bay. sunshine for thursday, about 4 degrees warmer. another 4 degrees warmer on friday and friday through the weekend. we'll have 60 degree temperatures at the coast, low to mid-70s around the bay and low 80s inland. that's fairly comfortable i think. >> yeah. the federal government is warning the makers of two popular drinks to stop making unsubstantiated claims about the nutritional value of the product. labels on canada dry sparkling green tea ginger ail claim the drink is fortified with p. a. oxidants. a letter from the fd a says the beverage does not meet the federal guidelines to make those claims. an august 2

into canada. have no effect or any bearing on our weather whatsoever. mid to upper 90s in the south bay today. saratoga and san jose about 95. low to mid-90s through most of the peninsula. upper 80s san mateo and millbrae. 80 degrees along the coast to upper 70s downtown south san francisco and always with mid to upper 90s through the north bay valleys. mid to upper 70s at your beaches. richmond, berkeley, hayward but low to mid-90s for the rest of the east bay shore. east bay valleys, upper 90s to near 100. morgan hill, gilroy, hollister. 89 today in santa rosa. 100 on saturday for a record high. 79 monterey. look at this relief tonight. upper 50s to low 60s in most neighborhoods. your accu-weather seven-day forecast, it is a gradual cooling. we're talking about it is going to take us until at least wednesday to drop 10 degrees and take us until saturday to drop 20 and get our temperatures back where they should be. over the weekend low 60s at the coast, upper 70s around the bay and low to mid-80s inland. here's frances with your traffic. >> yeah, mike, still following this high-speed police

. a look what is happening up there as cold air gathers as these longer nights develop up in canada and alaska. that cold air dropping down on the jet stream. in fact, here's a look at the cold front. today turns our winds onshore. we actually tap into the colder air tonight and into tomorrow as the cold front moves through. you can see the drizzle along the coast through the early parts of wednesday and then a cool breeze that will drop us nearly 20 to almost 30 degrees in some spots from yesterday through tomorrow. in fact, by tomorrow we're only in the low to mid-70s inland with mid to upper 60s around the bay and mid-50s at the coast. watch for more clouds tomorrow and again drizzle in the morning. we'll see more sunshine starting thursday and especially friday through the weekend. temperatures will hit 60 along the coast, low 70s around the bay and low 80s inland. have great day. here's frances with an update. >> hope you enjoyed yesterday's day off because things are getting more crowded on the the freeways as a lot of folks head back to work. that's southbound 680 in walnut c
